    The Shelby Township Parks, Recreation and Maintenance Department staff provides progressive leisure, organized sports, and cultural and educational programs to the township. It protects our natural resources and offers outdoor recreational opportunities to members of the community in a safe, healthy and enjoyable environment. The staff provides innovative and quality services to residents, businesses and service organizations in Shelby Township.

    Because they are so popular, some of the recreation offerings at the Shelby Township Activities Center have capacity limits. To ensure access to the activities and programs you want, we ask you to book your time via the link(s) below.     Shelby Township Activities Center Gym Schedule

    View the current Shelby Township Activities Center gym schedule for open walking, volleyball, basketball and pickleball opportunities. Drop-in fees are $2 for residents of Shelby Township and the city of Utica and $1 for resident senior center members. Non-resident drop-in fees are $4. Please note that the schedule is subject to change due to special events, maintenance, holidays or other facility needs.     Senior Movie: Top Gun Maverick
